Leak Detection
Carolina Blue Pools offers leak detection. We have a diver on call. Prices start at $50.00 plus parts for leaks in the pump room or piping. For leaks under the water line, the service is $200.00 and includes patches. All repaired leaks are guaranteed. For pump room or piping leaks, the warranty is until the end of the season. For leaks repaired under the water line, warranty is for 30 days.

Liner Replacement.....click for details
No matter your pool size or shape, CBP can fit it with a quality, durable liner, available in a wide range of vibrant colors that will add an extra touch of sparkle to your pool. 20/20, 27/20, and 27/27 mil vinyl liners are available. The first number is the liner's side thickness and the second number is the liner's bottom thickness.

Safety Covers Installation.....click for details
Protect your pool during the winter months and provide total safety for children and pets. Safety and security covers are held down with springs and anchors, ensuring there are no gaps between the pool and the ground, so children and pets cannot fall or slip into pool. Sand Filter Maintenance
When changing the sand, we recommend replacing the laterals. The filter typically contains eight laterals in the bottom. These will get brittle over time. When a lateral breaks, the sand from the filter is flushed into the pool. If you notice a lot of sand in your pool, you might have a cracked or broken lateral. The sand must be removed to replace them. Replacing the laterals typically adds $50.00 to the project. $50.00 well invested in eliminating a future inconvenience.

Pump Repair
Pumps rarely need replacing, just an occasional repair. The typical problem is caused by a cracked pump basket. Debris that should be kept in the basket is pulled through the crack and will clog the impeller reducing the flow of water returned to the pool. Failure to fix this may cause premature motor failure.

Whether the problem is with your filter, the pump, the motor, or the plumbing, Carolina Blue Pools can fix it.

Motor Replacement
Three major causes of motor failure are overheating, age, and bad seals. Overheating is caused by a lack of water circulation. This circulation problem is usually preventable. By keeping the pump basket empty and keeping the water level above the skimmers. Most motors not in an enclosed pump room suffer extreme aging during the winter months. For over six months of the year, the motor is not in use and sitting in the weather rusting. Spring arrives and while the motor worked fine when the pool was winterized, the motor fails to run when the pool is opened. Once again this problem is typically preventable. When winterizing, use a pump protector lubricant or remove the motor from the pump and store in a dry location. Motors must be replaced with the same size and horsepower. They can also be rebuilt which is a cost savings but can take up to a week. Replacement motors are installed in just an afternoon. When a motor is rebuilt or replaced, always replace the seals at the same time. The seals keep water from the pump getting into the motor. Replacing the seals add an additional $25.00 to the service and is once again, a wise investment.

Carolina Blue Pools will come to the house and do a complete inspection to the pool. Whether you are buying a house with a pool or selling one, having a written inspection of the pool will ease any doubts the buyer might have as to the condition of the pool. Inspections start at $50.00, include a written report, and the new homeowner will receive a 30 minute Pool School. Pool School reviews the inspection report and explains pool parts and upkeep.
